DaveDave McCullough

David started playing guitar at the age of ten, taking lessons with various local instructors and studying mostly classical guitar. However, on his thirteenth birthday, his parents bought him an electric guitar. The classical guitar was never seen again. For the next five years, David worked on learning how to play rock guitar. In 1987, he attended G.I.T. in Hollywood, and while there, started listening to jazz. Ever since that time, David has spent all his time studying jazz.

Nine2Five Club

925 Club

Nine2Five Club is a hip-hop duo based in Atlanta, Georgia and the Gulf Coast of Florida. Out to disprove the myth that the art of rap is easy money and force the lackluster to either join the club or put in their two weeks notice. With Roots that reach from Cali to Miami and Worldwide, these men are champions for working folks everywhere. D hails from the Maryland/D.C./Virginia Airea and Walt is a self-proclaimed gypsy whose feet never touch the same soil for too long. Together they project a universal sensibility that is much needed in music today. Their first offering Workmans Comp is a tribute to the least represented people in hip-hop today: the listener. If you work Nine2Five, you’ve already got your membership.

Flash Da Belizean Jagwar

flash

Caribbean people are known for their love of music and Flash is no different. Flash aka Da Belizean Jagwar, being an entertainer is pure genetics. Being a Belizean, via New York City and Los Angeles, Flash was able to grasp his calling and take the family musical baton and find his niche as a hip hop/Caribbean artist.

Entertaining just comes natural to Flash. "Being an entertainer means being different and offering what the audience desires. Give the people their money's worth". While attending UCLA, Flash became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and quickly made an impact on the stepshow circuit by becoming a stepmaster. He was also a principal choreographer and dancer for Montell Jordan's video "This Is How We Do It".

“Fusion” is the best way to describe Flash’s music. His style, “Flash Music Xperience” is a well balanced blend of non-explicit lyrics with Caribbean, Dancehall and Hip Hop tracks produced by long-time friend, DJ and producer, DJ Cali. The CD is basically an introduction of Flash to the world. If you wanted to know what he was about, all one needs to do is pop this in and let it play from beginning to end. Always encouraging a good time, from the first track, “Where Da Party At”, to the soca monster “Lemme C U”, you cannot help but dance!

Recently, Flash shot his first video for Here Comes Da Jagwar”, which is a follow up to “Jagwar’s Coming”. The song has been a major hit with its catchy chorus and hook alongside the beats by DJ Cali. The song leads into his sophomore release, “Wait Til I Git Thru” which was released on his birthday in 2008. This is a full package CD that everyone will find at least one song to call their own. The ladies will love “Nice Ting” as the hip hop nation will give it up for “Who’s Got Next?” Not forgetting his Caribbean/Belizean roots, “Just Can’t Git Enuf” will satisfy all appetites.

It’s no surprise that the “Flash Music Xperience” is rolling full steam ahead with a bright future while picking up riders along the way to enjoy the fun, musical ride.

Kidd Russell

Kidd

Kidd2Every tombstone has a birth date and death date that is separated by a DASH. “The Dash” is the title of Kidd Russell’s sophomore album. The Dash is a metaphor for life and the question Kidd raises in all his music is “what are you going to do with your dash?” In his first album UNTIED (2006) he questioned the very meaning of his own. Working a 9 to 5 job that left him un-satisfied he turned his hobby and passion for hip hop into a new career. The success of his first album, featuring songs such as “after work drinks,” “suburban anthropology” as well as “Paradise” has allowed him to open for such well established acts like Common, The Roots, The Flobots, Mickey Avalon, Mr. Lif and many more.

Kip Russell grew up outside Chicago, IL. Kidd lived in as his friends say “more houses than Kip had clean underwear.” This set the tempo for many long days on the road sleeping on random couches and beds while promoting his first album Untied. His second album, the Dash, is a mix of live band records and organically sampled records by West coast producers Michael Angelo (Portrait, Busta Rhymes, Snoop) and new comer DUST.

His first single “Dear Shooter’ of the dash featuring Jaswel Race has already gained regional support and with the recent release of his Music video the sky is the limit for Kidd Russell. His second single “Rush” was picked up by Fox Sports Network to help promote the 2008 season of College football. This all created from a self managed and self made independent artist. With all the hard work this new comer has put in, its no wonder he wants an “after work drink.”
